Welcome Dear Visitors !!

Under the leadership of President Hosni Mubarak, the whole Egyptian community aims to possess a fruitful future through His National Project of the Egyptian Renaissance.

A project that we are harvesting its fruits through the Egyptian economic reform, which changed the global political view towards us. The president pointed out that one of the project’s priorities is Education.

The Leader’s main aim is a total reform of the educational system, believing that such reform will, serve the Egyptian national security and be a weapon to defend us against the unknown future...

As a result of that, we in HIAC – as a part of the Egyptian educational system – put this aim in front of our eyes. Therefore we began to prepare a graduate student who is well educated, has a great knowledge about the most recent agricultural technologies, and able to deal with the different agricultural & cooperative sectors.

Being on  the way of reform, we didn’t forget to fulfill our great aim which is  letting our institute gain back its spirit. Therefore we had to prepare a healthy climate among the staff, employees, and students to achieve such aim.

The preparation of such healthy climate began with establishing a cultural center in HIAC. A center that made the students realize more knowledge, change their way of behavior into a positive one. Also we established a consumer cooperative society to be a practical experiment for the students to learn how to be in charge and responsible as they manage it, and  the society works according to the consumer cooperative law No. 109.

Besides, we didn’t ignore the health sector, therefore  we signed contracts with different medical authorities to provide  health care and medical treatment for staff, employees, and students though we have our own medical center, which plays a great role in emergencies

Another step on the way of reform was the establishment of a model farm called (the Agricultural experimental & research Station), built on 200 feddans, and located at kilo 62 Alex-Cairo desert road. HIAC and other faculties’ students come to the station to practice and integrate the theoretical side with the practical one. And the station is not confined to students only, but it also provides training to Arabs  and different cooperative, and agricultural delegations.

HIAC also owns a huge computer center consisting of 4 units with a total number of 200-computer machines. Excellent specialists manage this center perfectly.

The most significant  turning point during the reform was developing the administration of postgraduates, by allowing the students to continue their educational line through different types of diplomas, and each diploma lasts for 2 academic years. These diplomas are:

5 Diplomas (study in Arabic language):

4 Diplomas ( study in English language):

  • Diploma In Agricultural Marketing And Logistics.

  • Diploma In Agribusiness Management.

  • Diploma In Accounting And Finance

  • Diploma in Agricultural Extension And Training.

The aim of establishing these diplomas was to create  cadres  of students not only possessing theoretical knowledge, but also gaining the modern practical skills and techniques in different agricultural and cooperative sectors such as (marketing – agribusiness - feasibility studies –extension – development  , etc…). The priority of joining these diplomas is given to employees working in the same sectors  as above mentioned, and then to the graduates of agricultural cooperative institutes and faculties  whether they are Egyptians or Arab .

In a step of gaining more experience, HIAC arranged several deals and signed a number of agreements with different Universities, High Institutes, and Cooperative Organizations in USA, Europe, and several Arab countries.

The whole sum of achievements through the last period is by all means a great sign of progress. Such achievement would have not been achieved without Allah Almighty support, and the great help and efforts of HIAC staff members, employees as well as  the efforts and support of the Ministry of Higher Education, different Agricultural & Cooperative Sectors, different Egyptian Universities, Higher Institutes, the Ministry of Insurance & Social Affairs, and the Ministry of Training & Man Power.
