Training Center
The center is considered a
scientific & consultative one. Its staff are treated the same way as those
of The Agricultural Research Center (Ministry of Agriculture
i.e.) respecting the
same rule of promotion, rights, and the internal executive regulations
according to the Presidential decree No. 2425 for the year 1971 and the
Presidential No. 19 for the year 1983 in this concern.
The
Center Aims:
Participating in different
researches, feasibility studies & developmental projects with different
agricultural, cooperative organizations, & individuals.
Organizing Training Sessions for students,
graduates, & employees from different agricultural sectors to provide them
the update modern skills that suits the economic, social, and
technological changes of the labors market.
Holding specialized training sessions for practical agricultural & cooperative
fields.
ARTC board consists of the following: -

Chairman (HIAC’s Dean).
-
Head of ARTC (nominated by the Dean).
-
HIAC Deputies.
-
Four staff members representing HIAC’s all academic departments.
-
Four well qualified external staff members.
-
HIAC’s Secretary-General.
The
membership of ARTC board lasts for two years. HIAC’s Dean chooses the board
members. The Head of ARTC is usually nominated as the board
secretary-general.
ARTC’s board members meet at least once a month, by an invitation from the
Chairman, or at the request power of more than half of the members (majority), and than
half of the members must attend for valid quorum.
Roles & Powers of ARTC board: -
Drawing the strategy and guidelines that organizes the work system in a way
that achieves its aims.
Studying the different proposed projects from other authorities, That ARTC
could achieve on their behalf.
Supervising the different economical and technological sessions held by the
center.
Setting the financial rules that govern the board members, & the employees
of the center.
Recommending the nomination of new center staff, & researchers.
Determining the terms and rates of the training session projects, and
different types of activities that the center hold.
Setting the internal work system of the center and its different units,
besides determining the powers and duties of the employees.
The
board chairman is authorized to supervise the performance of ARTC
board issues through: -
Monitoring the performance of ARTC’s general policy.
Signing business contracts with other partners.
Signing rewards & production promotions.
Reporting to the board members and illustrating ARTC’s activities.
Delegating the Head of ARTC to assume some of his responsibilities.
The
Head of ARTC assume under the supervision of the Chairman the following
responsibilities: -
Handling the center’s different matters & monitoring the performance of the
Center’s board issues.
Nominating the experts & technicians in need.
Discussing the projects presented to the center.
Declaring & recommending the different training
sessions lee fore the board.
Preparing the annual report of the center’s achievements.
Proposing the fee rate for services provided to third parties.
Suggesting rewards & production promotions.
Tasks assigned to him by the chairman to carry and (by the chairman).
The
Center is authorized to prepare & perform economical
and technological training sessions to elevate proficiency & skills of
the, students affiliated to HIAC, Other faculties, and concerned
agricultural producers in order to qualify them to be able to core with the
new global economic system. Each session lasts
at least for 18 hours, including practical & field training.
The
fee rate of participating in each session costs
L.E 50 , plus other L.E 50 for the outlay of the
training session according to the nature of each one. At the end of each
session the trainee is awarded a certificate of attendance. |
